This was okay and accessible for anyone。 I rated this 3。5 stars because it will make self-help and therapy accessible to folks who might not have considered it in the past。 I also feel that men will be drawn to this that might not have accepted self-help in the past, as the author is a former sports dude and a current member of the Detroit Piston's staff。 He is a great role model in the field of psychology。 Personally, the book was predictable and nothing groundbreaking, though the short length This was okay and accessible for anyone。 I rated this 3。5 stars because it will make self-help and therapy accessible to folks who might not have considered it in the past。 I also feel that men will be drawn to this that might not have accepted self-help in the past, as the author is a former sports dude and a current member of the Detroit Piston's staff。 He is a great role model in the field of psychology。 Personally, the book was predictable and nothing groundbreaking, though the short length and approachability made for a speedy read。 。。。more

I listened to this。 Very good。 I realize after listening that it is a good book to actually have the actual book and see if he has space in it to write notes and comments。 I have no idea if there is a companion workbook to go with this book - but it would be very beneficial if there was one。 Highly recommend !

This would make a great gift for the high school or college graduate in your life。 The questions are something that would be important to consider in that transitional "finding yourself" time。 However, there is value and something to learn throughout for anyone of any age, at any point in life。 If you've done some therapy or work on yourself, you may find some of this is a refresher, or you may gain a new way to approach a familiar topic。 I really enjoyed that there was the question with guiding This would make a great gift for the high school or college graduate in your life。 The questions are something that would be important to consider in that transitional "finding yourself" time。 However, there is value and something to learn throughout for anyone of any age, at any point in life。 If you've done some therapy or work on yourself, you may find some of this is a refresher, or you may gain a new way to approach a familiar topic。 I really enjoyed that there was the question with guiding information, followed by a way to think deeper and/or activities to help you get to the root of the answer。 A worthwhile read。Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

How Am I Doing? by Corey Yeager is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in late October。Similar to a book I’d just read on somatic therapy, this book now is about conversations to have with yourself。 There are 4 pages per prompt chapter (of which there are 40) where Yeager offers his own experiences within basketball, is extremely motivational, and really makes you think about how you hold yourself, how you envision your future, and how you appear to everyone else。

Dr。 Corey Yeager provides personal anecdotes to readers as he invites us to ask ourselves challenging questions。 He encourages readers to "look into the mirror" and face the version of themselves that they ARE and focus on the version they want to become。 Each chapter includes a personal, reflective writing activity to begin challenging your own views to become the best version of yourself。 I cannot recommend this title enough for people who are feeling stuck, or are looking to make a change in Dr。 Corey Yeager provides personal anecdotes to readers as he invites us to ask ourselves challenging questions。 He encourages readers to "look into the mirror" and face the version of themselves that they ARE and focus on the version they want to become。 Each chapter includes a personal, reflective writing activity to begin challenging your own views to become the best version of yourself。 I cannot recommend this title enough for people who are feeling stuck, or are looking to make a change in their lives。**I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher, through Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
